May 2012 - For the month of May you may fill your belly with wonderful fresh delights at the Purple Onion Deli (146 Augusta)  in Comox, while feasting your eyes on some original acrylic paintings by Tracy Kobus.      

 Kobus, also a popular art instructor in the Valley, will be showing some of her latest dream-like paintings which often juxtapose both human and natural elements in surprising and expressive ways.

Upcoming Classes in May:

The Outdoor Sketching Club is starting Monday, April 23rd at the Comox Marina.  The next places we meet will be the Woodland Gardens, Lazo Marsh and Kin Beach Park.  If you can’t attend all, you are welcome to come to individual classes for $15 drop in.  Please contact me to register and for supply list.

I still have room in Drawing: The Right Approach (beginner) – 3 Day Intensive which is on Wed, Thurs & Fri, May 2, 3 & 4th; $118 includes all supplies.  In this class you will cover the most important aspects of the regular 8 week course.  Geared for total beginners, this intensive would also work as an excellent refresher for those who have taken the class before.
